Collection "IN TENT" is inspired by my first camping experience last summer. I fell in love with this interesting and sustainable way of traveling. Spent a night in nature without Wifi signal made me physically and mentally connected more with my friends and family and ends up with an exceed expectation charming experience.
Tent as the most important and typical camping equipment is a key inspirational element in this collection. The connection technique of the tent, the pattern of the tent, the material of the tent are all manipulated in different ways in this collection.
Sustainability is one of the key elements through out the development of the collection. I have tired to source most of my materials from sustainable sources, that are discarded by big companies. And tried to minimize waste by utilizing zero waste pattern making methods.
Prints and patterns are essential in this collection as well. Several pastel prints were developed that inspired by the photos that we took during the camping trip Those prints served different functionalities in the design process: as draping patterns, as prints, as patchworks and so on...
Finally, all the designs in this collection are named by famous campsites all around the world. I wish this collection could inspire people to go out enjoy the beauty of nature and also to promote this new modern way of traveling.
