"Threading Memories" is based on my inspiration that stems from looking back into my childhood memories, when my father's daily dress routine would come to mind. As I would remember getting ready for school, I would also visualize my father getting ready for work. His wear would consist of dress shirts paired with a tie and slacks, all of which he dons to this day. It's a part of his daily life which is deeply immersed in my life. Observing the variety of colors and patterns hanging from his dress rack has always drawn my interest. In homage to my father, my thesis collection is designed with the aspects of menswear and the basis of a dress shirt.
