Charles Royle 1998 - A self-branded and sustainable fashion start-up based on the beauty of Yorkshire
Yorkshire, one of the most beautiful and serene parts of England, rich in history, culture, talent and inspiration. Being the largest county in the UK, it also has the most to offer, with rolling hills, bustling cities and culturally historic landmarks leading to produce some of the most talented minds in history.
I find inspiration in more than just visual stimuli, but also more conceptual sources such as conversations, process, depth and atmosphere. That being said, when looking for visual sources of inspiration, I like to cross pollenate and look in unconventional places. For example, when looking for inspiration for fashion, I sometimes look at fonts and graphic design as a reference, or when painting, I often look towards nature and natural forms. However, during this time of isolation I have been searching for common threads of inspiration within my own life, all of which have seemed to intersect at one place, my home.
